Shakespeare is widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's pre-eminent dramatist. In this class you will be introduced to Shakespeare's work, writing style, history, and have the opportunity to work on some of his material. While working on his material we will dive into the theatrics part of Shakespeare and how to handle not only the verbiage but also the physicality that goes along with his style. 

Week 1: Introduction to the history of Shakespeare and some of his work as well as receiving a sonnet to work on.
